Fuel prices are set to rise significantly from midnight on Friday. Both 95 and 98 petrol will become more expensive, with the price of 95 petrol increasing by 5.3 cents to €1.888 per litre. Meanwhile, 98 petrol will see a rise of 5.7 cents, bringing its cost to €2.116 per litre.
Alongside these changes, diesel will be priced at €2.095 per litre. Consumers relying on heating fuel and LPG will also experience price adjustments, with heating fuel costing €1.575 per litre and LPG available at €0.83 per litre.
This increase in fuel prices is set to impact consumers and industries relying on petrol and diesel, potentially affecting transportation costs and household budgets. The adjustments come at a time when energy costs are a significant concern for many, with such changes likely to influence economic activities in various sectors.
For consumers, it may be beneficial to plan ahead for these changes. Those able to refuel before the prices increase might consider doing so to save on costs. Additionally, monitoring fuel consumption and exploring energy-efficient practices could help mitigate the impact of rising prices.
